(The departing in marriage is a sad story which announces all different kinds of penalties, and with many types of on-side kicks, unsportsman-like conduct, and late hits.)
...Eland fought Lion...Eland!?
Penality
One day you will look
To me, and I'll be gone;
One day you will look
To see my sores and brawn;
To feel my lion words;
To creep into my covers
And cook your fever against my sherds--
Playing we are lovers;
But I'll be quiet in my tomb
Digging with the earth worm
While you cry softly in a room,
Trying to think my last term.
You will look to my meanings,
Absent your former leanings
And quickly curse your stiffened lip
That I was often right, so hip.
Then you must look into the dawn,
But I'll be hid by the tree;
You will look for me,
And, yes, I'll be gone.
