And That is the Question!
I could be standing by the sea
Shouting, Come and look at me;
Or passing through a crowd say 'hi'
By deed, by smile, by simple cry.
Or by brass to turn about
All those too meek to damn or shout;
Or live within the birdly home
And cover up my brazen chrome.
I could be standing by the sand
Raving a rouse to rock this land
Or say so ever silently
What I've been taught that life must be.
Oh, I could be, I know full well,
The mouthful guy that goes to Hell
And say so big a mouthy thing
And fail to hear the echoing.
But I should choose to stop, to stare
And plan to know why you are there
And give so effervescently
My voice that says, I see! I see!
