I Love Earth
There must be notes for such array
Much like the notes we give away;
They quiver here within my mind
For here I hold to what I find.
I capture tears, the ones let loose;
Inside I feel and find their use;
While lives-a-million causes them
I save and count each one a gem.
I suppose the songs of all the spheres
Were writ on me in the key of cheer;
For I love the thrum in the high breathy breeze
Which never despairs my caress or my squeeze.
Quickly now in lightning fashion
A sky storm smolders, dark, in a passion;
I breath the glass, my eyes orbit wide,
My thoughts all tremble, my heart does ride.
Oh, I love this place, inside this earth
Where I have fought to keep my birth;
And quiver still with all my mind
Forever holding what I find.
