Solgi: my 'hereafter' pages for Sammy Harbour
(some of the poems are annotated; please click on the blue at the bottom to read them)
A young violin player I once knew played for me.
And as he played I fell in love all over again with my own name, then all over again with the violin. Never had I heard music in person; from a youth to me. He said, "My piano teacher said it was a piece called Solo G." I didn't really know what it meant; nor did the boy know what it would mean to me here after his decease, a few years later.
So here on the hereafter of my pages, I annotate for you pieces I meant for him to know: only we had run out of his time.
(Also, let me know you have visited; let me know in my guessbook what you have enjoyed. )
